We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide/ CNA to join our team at Heartland Hospice. As a Hospice Aide/ CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families in their homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist patients with ambulation and transfer to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
- Prepare and serve light meals and snacks, and assist with feeding patients as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in quality improvement activities as assigned by supervisor.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- At least six (6) months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology.
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Current CPR certification.
