Home Health Administrator Position

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Health Administrator to join our team at One Health Home Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and implementing effective fiscal planning.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations and directly supervise the Director of Nursing.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and accreditation regulations.
- Implement effective fiscal planning by budgeting and managing operations.
- Maintain liaison among the Governing Body, staff, and community.
- Recruit, train, and develop qualified personnel.
- Establish and maintain effective channels of communication.
- Monitor organizational Performance Improvement activities.
- Appoint a pre-designated person to assume Administrator responsibilities in case of an emergency.
- Ensure a Director of Nursing is available during all operating hours.
- Complete performance evaluations and plans.
- Will be available at all times during operating hours and emergency situations.
- Inform the Governing Body and staff of current organizational, community, and industry trends.
- Oversee the Performance Improvement program.
- Participate in the review, analysis, and appraisal of the total agency program.
- Submit periodic reports of agency activity, including financial statements.
- Authorize the hiring of administrative, clinical, and clerical positions.
- Serve as the agency's Disaster Coordinator and corporate compliance officer.
- Implement all utilization review activities and coordinate the timely implementation of corrective action plans and controls.
- Act as the HIPAA Privacy Officer.
Requirements:
- Familiarize employees with all laws and regulations.
- Responsible for the completion, maintenance, and submission of reports and records as required.
- Designate a professional employee to be the authorized representative in your absence.
- Maintain a current organizational chart to show lines of authority to the client level.
- Clearly identify public services provided by the agency in the geographic area.
- Maintain office facility for the agency, meeting local ordinances and fire regulations.
Qualifications:
- A licensed physician, a registered nurse, or holds an undergraduate degree.
- Has experience in health service administration and at least 1 year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or related health care program within the last five years.
- Must have a criminal background check.
- Must possess a valid state driver license and maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
