* Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established recipes and nutritional guidelines
* Ensure food is presented in an attractive and appetizing manner
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
* Store food properly to prevent spoilage and contamination
* Collaborate with the Dining Service Director to plan and implement menu changes

Requirements:

* Formal training in culinary arts or equivalent experience
* Ability to maintain regular attendance and work a variety of shifts
* Food Handlers Permit (if required by state regulations)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassion and desire to work with the elderly
