DHQ Caroler

Join the Salvation Army team as a DHQ Caroler and contribute to the organization's mission to spread joy and hope during the holiday season.

This is a unique opportunity to use your musical talents to make a difference in the lives of others. As a DHQ Caroler, you will be responsible for providing seasonal music accompaniment and entertainment at various Salvation Army events and programs throughout the California South Division Corps.

• Read music proficiently and play a brass instrument in a quartet or quintet
• Ability to play as a soloist at kettles
• Read music proficiently and sing a part in a quartet or quintet
• Travel to events throughout the Southern California Division
• Other duties as assigned by the Divisional Music & Gospel Arts Director

This role requires the ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. You will also need to be able to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Additionally, you will need to be able to operate a computer, printer, and telephone, and lift up to 25 lbs.

• Uniformed Salvationist currently attending a Salvation Army Corps

• Able to play a brass instrument to a certain level of proficiency
• Able to sing a part to a certain level of proficiency
