Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing technical procedures, assisting in the clinical evaluation and care of patients, and providing a safe and positive experience for patients undergoing CT scans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients, including those in emergency situations, outpatients, inpatients, and research patients.
  • Assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients, including those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures.
  • Utilize radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and advancements in CT scanning, and share knowledge with colleagues to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and a high school graduate (high school +1).
  • New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in the State of New York.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
