Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Principal Water Resources Engineer to lead our water resources projects in San Diego, California. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of water resources projects, including dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical leadership and guidance on water resources projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, and to ensure project delivery meets their requirements.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to grow technical expertise and improve operational efficiency.
  4. Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects, and to maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  1. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in water resources engineering, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.
  3. Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  4. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  5. A valid California Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
