Job SummaryThis position involves supervising students during afternoon playground time, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining order, resolving conflicts, and implementing age-appropriate games and activities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and orderly environment on the playground.
- Assist students in resolving conflicts and problems that may arise.
- Conduct regular inspections of the playground to identify and eliminate potential hazards.
- Create and implement engaging games and activities that promote physical activity and social interaction.
- Report any incidents or accidents involving students to administration.
- Provide basic first aid if necessary and assist ill or injured students.
- Communicate with teachers and administrators regarding any issues or concerns related to student behavior or playground maintenance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and run for extended periods.
- Capacity to get up and down from sitting on the ground easily.
- Physical ability to lift 25lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is also available to eligible employees.
