Job Title: CMM Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our team at Amtec Contract. As a CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving inspection processes using knowledge of equipment capabilities, product design, and quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement valid inspection processes for complex parts using Optical Inspection equipment and software.
  • Assist in CMM operations and inspections.
  • Work with level II and III programmers to develop CMM programming skills.
  • Establish Optical Equipment Program Controls, tooling control, file security, etc.
  • Provide assistance to inspectors using the Optical Inspection equipment.
  • Inspect products using Optical Inspection equipment and basic inspection tools.
  • Conduct training sessions to ensure relevant personnel have current knowledge on the operations of the Optical Inspection equipment.
  • Manage TCRs to ensure current program info is present on master routers.
  • Support Quality Management with miscellaneous activities.

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years minimum related experience.
  • Proficient with GD&T requirements and ability to calculate True Position, Profile of Surface, and Profile of Line based on inspection results.

Language Skills:

  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Math Skills:

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plan and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Skills:

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer/Office Skills:

  • Basic windows/internet browser.
  • ERP/Inventory.
  • Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Inspec (Micro-Vu Software), TM Navigator/IM Editor (Keyence Software) SULVAC-RELEX Scan (SCAN F60T Software).
  • CMM Manager (CMM Software).
  • Typing.
