Job Summary

NESCO Inc is seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to join our team in Lincoln, NH. As a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair electrical systems including power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of electrical power, lighting, and transportation equipment.
  • Inspect wiring and fixtures for conformance to specifications or local electrical codes.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures.
  • Test and verify repairs of malfunctioning machinery.
  • Replace faulty electrical components of machines and equipment.
  • Analyze and resolve electrical problems or assist workers in solving electrical problems.
  • Plan and install wiring and electrical apparatus in buildings.
  • Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Requirements
  • Valid Master Electrician License
  • Four to ten years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Language Skills

The ideal candidate will possess excellent language skills, including the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. They will also be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

The candidate will also possess strong mathematical skills, including the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. They will be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Skills

The ideal candidate will possess strong reasoning skills, including the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. They will be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
