Key Responsibilities:

MV Transportation is in search of a Dispatch/Road Supervisor who will oversee the daily route operations and report directly to the Operations Supervisor, under the guidance of the General Manager. This role requires adherence to the protocols established by the client while ensuring compliance with company standards.

Daily communication and engagement with drivers and clients are essential. The supervisor will also be responsible for organizing and implementing activities that ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely operational performance.

Responsibilities include tracking and reporting sign-in/sign-out times, ensuring routes are executed on schedule, and communicating service-related issues to the Operations Supervisor and/or General Manager as necessary.


  • Job Duties

Specific Duties:
Effectively communicates route and driver issues to the Operations Supervisor and/or General Manager as needed.
Monitors radio communications, telephones, and on-road service provision for quality assurance.
Responsible for fostering positive employee morale and delivering exceptional customer service.
Oversees daily driver sign-in and sign-out processes.
May allocate trips to drivers to ensure equitable distribution of assignments across all designated routes.
Monitors daily operational performance metrics.
Participates in the analysis and evaluation of operational performance.
Records instances of route delays or late starts and communicates these to Dispatch Supervisors and/or Dispatch Managers as appropriate.
Performs additional duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Passenger (P) endorsement. If you do not meet this licensing requirement, please refrain from applying. One (1) year of prior experience in a Dispatch or Supervisory role is preferred. Two (2) years of experience in Customer Service is also preferred.

A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer service.
Exhibits a professional phone demeanor.
Familiarity with the service area is advantageous.
