**Diesel Technician II

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician II to join our team as a Fleet Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our mobile maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on various types of truck equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform minor adjustments and repairs on electrical, brake, cooling systems, starters, alternators, and other truck equipment.
- Conduct regular safety training and maintain up-to-date knowledge on safety protocols and procedures.
- Document work performed, parts used, and findings on repair orders using company-issued devices and proprietary applications.
- Communicate with management, team members, and dispatch via Microsoft Office products and other communication methods.
- Work independently, managing parts inventory and equipment on company-issued service trucks, and perform periodic reconciliation.
- Diagnose, adjust, and repair various types of truck equipment, including electrical, brake, and cooling systems.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license and meet Cox Automotive Mobility minimum driving qualification standards.
- Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment or within 72 hours of hire.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power Technician on medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skill/experiences.
