Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician

As a key member of the healthcare team, you will provide specialized expertise in Obstetrics and Gynecology, ensuring comprehensive care for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a consultant and expert in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Conduct thorough examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for a diverse range of OB/GYN patients.
- Deliver preventative care and educational resources to women attending the clinic.
- Assess and manage emergency obstetrical situations, facilitating appropriate referrals for optimal patient care.
- Participate in departmental conferences and educational lectures.
- Support activities in Labor and Delivery during childbirth.
- Mentor and train medical students, interns, residents, and other healthcare professionals in outpatient OB/GYN practices.
Employment Conditions:
- Candidates may be subject to a suitability determination following a background investigation.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is mandatory.
- Compliance with specific background investigation and periodic re-verification requirements is essential, particularly for roles involving interaction with minors.
- Selectees must agree to seasonal influenza vaccinations or provide a recognized exemption.
- This position is designated for pre-employment screening and random drug testing.
- A pre-placement medical examination is necessary.
- Moderate to heavy lifting may be required.
- Immunization screening is mandatory, including Hepatitis B for roles with direct patient contact.
- Candidates must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced certifications do not replace BLS requirements.
- Must meet non-privileged professional credentialing standards.
- The role may involve shift work or rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Uniform or appropriate medical attire is required during duty hours.
- Personal protective equipment provided by the employer must be utilized.
Qualifications:
- Who May Apply: U.S. Citizens
- Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Must hold a current, unrestricted medical license from a U.S. jurisdiction.
- Graduate Training: At least one year of supervised clinical experience post-degree, including internship or residency.
- Residency Training: Completion of accredited residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with equivalent experience totaling at least four years.

- Salary determination occurs post-acceptance of the initial job offer.
