Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct assigned staff, ensuring the effective management of sewer systems, facilities, and operations.
  • Develop and implement operational plans, policies, and procedures to improve division performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and personnel, making informed decisions to optimize sewer system operations and maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information on sewer operations and maintenance.
  • Respond to emergency situations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise in sewer operations and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in sewer maintenance and construction, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of supervisory experience, with a proven track record of managing teams and achieving results.
  • Valid driver's license and Collection System Operators License - Level B, with the ability to obtain Level A within one year of hire.
