Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pediatric Hospitalist to take on the role of Chief of the Department at a prominent safety-net Children’s Hospital. This leadership position requires a strong background in pediatric hospital medicine and proven experience in managing a medical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a dedicated team comprising 4 full-time physicians, 2 part-time physicians, and 3 junior attending physicians.
- Manage the care for a 115-bed pediatric service within the hospital.
- Utilize the Epic EMR system for efficient patient management.
- Maintain a schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM, including overnight phone call duties and shared weekend rounding responsibilities.

- This is an employed position that offers a competitive salary.
