Nurse Practitioner

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current unrestricted Mississippi State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Specialty certifications as required by the department (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP).
- Minimum one year of inpatient clinical experience, preferred.
The Registered Nurse works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional care. The ability to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly, and prioritize tasks is essential.
Physical and Mental Demands:The Registered Nurse must be able to stand, turn, bend, stoop, lift, climb, and use many physical motions in performing day-to-day activities. Auditory acuity to hear patient verbal communication and gather data using auscultatory skills is required. Manual dexterity of hands and feet to ambulate hours per 12-hour shift and adroitly manage multiple pieces of equipment/tubes/invasive lines is necessary.
Special Demands:The Registered Nurse must possess superior customer service skills and professional etiquette. Proficient knowledge and ability to use a computer, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel are required.
