Job Title: SailPoint IdentityNow Platform Engineer

Pacific Life is seeking a highly skilled Identity Governance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) department, you will be responsible for delivering Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) products and capabilities to support our enterprise infrastructure and business line applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement IGA strategies and roadmaps to align with corporate goals and industry security trends.
  • Collaborate with IT leaders, technologists, and support staff to ensure clear requirements and established timelines.
  • Improve and track the maturity of IAM IGA products and capabilities, focusing on increased adoption, speed to market, and resiliency.
  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot IGA solutions, providing technical and architectural design documentation.
  • Create solutions that drive full automation, self-service, and resiliency, eliminating duplicative capabilities and reducing complexities.
  • Establish strong relationships with technology partners and business lines to define agreed-upon requirements and outcomes.
  • Define best practices and develop troubleshooting processes, methodologies, standards, alerts, and reporting for operational monitoring.
  • Identify, manage, and remediate existing or future risks, issues, and roadblocks for timely delivery.
  • Partner with internal technical teams to ensure successful implementation and monitor progress.
  • Lead change by acting as a change agent, inspiring a shared purpose of intent, driving awareness, communications, documentation, and training.
  • Develop and implement program communications frameworks and metrics to keep stakeholders, customers, and IAM colleagues informed.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of information security strategy and architecture.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of Information Security experience, with a strong focus on IAM IGA platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, ForgeRock, Oracle).
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in enabling new, migrating to, and/or managing an enterprise IGA platform based on best practices.
  • Experience with integrating IGA capabilities with ServiceNow-like platforms.
  • Experience with centralized and decentralized IGA models.
  • Experience with code repository management tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, etc.
  • Experience with designing and developing J2EE/Java applications, web services, and databases.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience with automating IGA processes by leveraging out-of-box capabilities, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or custom-built connectors/APIs.
  • Knowledge and experience of Least Privileged Access Modeling, Role-Based Access Control, and Separation of Duty.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and corresponding Agile-based tools.
  • Proven ability to influence and gain trust at senior management levels in multi-cultural environments.
  • Ability to manage complex activities simultaneously to shorten timescales.
  • Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement.
  • Clear understanding of CoBIT and ITIL frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, or other relevant security certifications and knowledge of ISO and NIST security standards preferred.
