Job Title: Chief Patent Attorney
Salary Range: $250,000 - $400,000 per year

Job Description:
A dynamic and experienced patent attorney is required to manage all aspects of intellectual property rights for a leading medical device company. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, software, and medical devices, as well as a thorough understanding of USPTO procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and prosecution of patent applications
  • Manage patent portfolios of the company
  • Conduct product clearance studies and risk assessments for new products and technologies
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on intellectual property matters
  • Collaborate with engineers and product development teams to identify patentable inventions

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Current license to practice law
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in intellectual property law, specifically in patent prosecution and product clearance
  • Strong technical background in electrical engineering, software, and medical devices
