We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a RN on our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in medical surgical nursing.
- Current Oregon RN license.
- 1 year of experience in medical surgical nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
