Electronics Assembly Specialist

Magna-Power Electronics, a renowned electronics manufacturer in New Jersey, seeks an Electronics Assembly Specialist to join its world-class team. The Electronics Assembly Specialist will assemble electronic components onto printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) according to company specifications, utilizing hand and power tools, wiring diagrams, and following sample boards for assembly duties. The complex nature of the products demands significant hands-on training and interaction with various Magna-Power teams.
The primary responsibilities of the Electronics Assembly Specialist include:
- Preparing setup, forming, and staging of various components for PCB assembly
- Soldering through-hole components and wiring assemblies
- Operating automation machinery (wire fabrication, SMT pick & place, 3D-AOI)
- Performing visual inspection of assemblies to IPC-standards
- Assembling PCBs by following BOMs, schematics, and diagrams
- Working in a push-line assembly process to combine tasks effectively and maximize labor efforts
The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with minimum 1-2 years related experience and/or training. A good mechanical aptitude and accurate use of hand and power tools are essential. Knowledge of BOMs, assembly drawings, and other manufacturing documents is preferred.
