- Provide instruction and support to students with severe physical, behavioral, and cognitive challenges.
- Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and parents to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet educational goals.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching license in Special Education for Virginia.
- Experience working with students with profound physical, behavioral, and cognitive needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Full-time position requiring 35 hours per week.
- Positions available immediately.
