We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Yard & DOT Delivery Driver to join our team at Utility Trailer Sales Company of Arizona. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for transporting semi-trailers to designated areas and customers in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation: Load and unload semi-trailers for delivery, ensuring accurate and efficient transportation of goods.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including cleaning, checking lights, tires, and fluids, to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Safety and Security: Observe all traffic laws and posted speed limits, and report any potentially unsafe conditions to management.
- Yard Operations: Maintain and clean the yard as needed, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by management, including assisting with yard operations and transportation tasks.
- Experience: One to two years of tractor/trailer or yard driving experience.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and manual transmission certification.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Physical Demands: Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and utilize hand and finger dexterity. Continually required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
