About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at SSM Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality patient care by performing computerized tomographic procedures.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters, and administering contrast media and/or medications as required. You will also observe patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity. Additionally, you will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures: You will prepare and position patients, select appropriate protocols, and administer contrast media and/or medications as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records: You will accurately document patient information, procedure details, and any notable observations or incidents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams: You will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments: You will maintain current knowledge of medical imaging technologies, procedures, and best practices.
Education and Experience

A completion of Radiology program is required for this role. No experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.

Work Environment

This full-time evening shift position offers 40 scheduled weekly hours. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
