Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Portneuf Medical Center's Inpatient Rehab Unit. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve maximum functional recovery through exercise and/or use of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
  • Communicate patient progress and concerns to supervisors and other team members, and provide education to patients' families and nursing staff on follow-through programs.
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition.
  • Adhere to the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable state/federal laws.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
