Aircraft Installation Specialist

At PDS Tech, we're seeking a skilled Aircraft Installation Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our assembly team, you'll play a crucial role in the final installation of cutting-edge aircraft. Your attention to detail and mechanical expertise will ensure that every project meets our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly & Installation:

Assemble, install, and adjust structural parts and systems, including rigging control cables, landing gear, engines, and aircraft entry doors.


Repair & Maintenance:
Perform repairs by removing and replacing components, cutting and fitting system lines, ensuring all work meets conformity standards.

Quality Assurance:
Ensure all installations are defect-free before final inspection and update necessary logs and records.

Tool Proficiency:
Use various tools and equipment to successfully complete installations and minor structural work.

Continuous Improvement:
Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of experience in aerospace/aviation or equivalent mechanical work such as auto mechanics, heavy equipment. An A&P license can offset the experience requirement. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams. Proficiency with tools for drilling, reaming, and fitting parts. Experience with Solumina and Smarteam is preferred. Ability to perform tasks in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
