In this position, you will oversee a team of hourly associates and will be accountable for engaging your team throughout their shifts to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.

Your role will also be crucial in meeting our customer expectations, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Our operational workflow consists of three key phases: First mile - where products are stored and prepared for orders; Middle mile - where orders are transported to your area; and Last mile - where products are delivered directly to the customer's doorstep.

While each workflow may have slight variations in structure, one constant remains: our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Our fulfillment network continuously opens new operational sites each year, offering numerous opportunities for your professional advancement. We recruit Area Managers based on location preferences and current business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, mentor, and inspire your hourly workforce.
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and ensure customer delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to devise strategies that meet business goals.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently engage in pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
  • Stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
  • Work in an environment where noise levels may vary and can be loud.
  • Adapt to environments with fluctuating temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Continuously navigate stairs (applicable to sites with stair access).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee and performance management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or 2+ years of experience with Amazon (blue badge/FTE).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 1 year of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean methodologies.
