Job Summary

Nimbus Power Systems is seeking a skilled Fuel Cell Technician to join our team in the manufacturing of fuel cell engine components. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing and testing fuel cell components from initial concept to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing and Testing: Manufacture and test fuel cell components, including assembling and testing fuel cell engines for hybrid heavy-duty applications.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and operate fuel cell test stands, perform electrical wiring and mechanical assembly tasks, and handle compressed gases in a safe and controlled environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, and adhere to safety protocols, especially when working with high-voltage equipment.
  • Customer Support: Travel occasionally for field support and interact with customers in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting.
  • Certifications: Trade Certification in electrical or mechanical field desired but not required.
  • Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio; hands-on experience with hardware and electrical wiring; comfortable working with compressed gases and high-voltage electrical systems.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CNC Machining Experience: Experience with CNC machining and other precision tools.
  • High-Voltage Safety: Familiarity with high-voltage safety standards.
  • IT Troubleshooting: Experience with basic IT troubleshooting, including diagnosing and resolving minor software, hardware, or network issues.
