About the Role

Dunn Tire is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support senior technicians in diagnostics and repair
  • Thoroughly inspect vehicles for necessary repairs and regular maintenance
  • Complete brake alignments, maintenance, timing belts, struts, fluid changes, coolant flushes, and other service-related tasks
  • Utilize computer-based applications for automotive-related information
  • Communicate effectively with service managers and customers
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Install new products and test them to ensure they are working correctly
  • Educate customers on how to use and maintain their devices
  • Perform maintenance and provide customer support
  • Diagnose problems and develop solutions to repair them
  • Order parts needed for repairs
  • Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services performed
  • Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
Requirements
  • ASE Certified A1 – A8
  • Minimum of 4 years of full-time auto repair and diagnosis experience
  • Acceptable driving record for our insurance
  • Knowledge of domestic and import vehicles
