About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at GEI Consultants. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading field and engineering design efforts related to water resource and water conveyance facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to provide oversight and design expertise for pipeline design and quality control expertise for pipeline design related water conveyance and civil design projects.
  • Provide oversight for the development of quality scope, fee, reports, plans, specifications, and estimates for multiple projects.
  • Supervise engineers, technicians, and other technical staff.
  • Review and evaluate design and construction practices.
  • Attend and lead project meetings and work in a team environment or independently.
  • Identify needs and support meetings with internal staff and external clients.
  • Participate in and lead business development activities and contribute to both office and practice growth.
Requirements
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in California.
  • 15-25 years of experience in pipeline and/or general civil design.
  • Familiarity and/or experience with detailed design and specification preparation.
  • Experience managing PEs and EITs with multiple project deadlines.
  • Excellent technical report writing and communication skills.
