We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Assistant Professor to join our team at Upstate University Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching core, specialty, and related courses for the College of Nursing each semester, as well as participating in scholarly activities and service to the college and university.
Responsibilities:- Teaching: Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs for nursing students, including core, specialty, and related courses.
- Scholarship: Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publication, and presentation of academic work.
- Service: Participate in professional, college, and university organizations to advance the field of nursing and contribute to the academic community.
- NYS licensed/registered Nationally Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Ability and skills to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, students, and others.
- Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of curriculum design and implementation, three years of relevant work experience, experience in clinical or didactic instruction, and earned Doctorate (PhD or DNP) with faculty experience.
