Physician Job Description

CareArc Inc is seeking a skilled Physician to provide high-quality medical care to our patients. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with various health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prescribe and administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information and records, including social and medical history, reports, and examination results obtained from patients, relatives, or other professionals.
  • Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' conditions.
  • Diagnose or treat acute healthcare problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.
  • Diagnose or treat complex, unstable, co-morbid, episodic, or emergency conditions in collaboration with other healthcare providers as necessary.
  • Perform primary care procedures such as suturing, splinting, administering immunizations, taking cultures, and debriding wounds.
  • Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, such as complete blood counts (CBCs), electrocardiograms (EKGs), and radiographs (x-rays).
  • Design individualized care plans using a variety of treatments.
  • Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized.
  • Counsel patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, or herbal remedies.
  • Detect and respond to adverse drug reactions with special attention to vulnerable populations such as infants, children, pregnant and lactating women, or older adults.
  • Schedule follow-up visits to monitor patients or evaluate health or illness care.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients' individual circumstances.
  • Perform routine or annual physical examinations.
  • Supervise or coordinate patient care or support staff activities.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
  • Participate in activities aimed at professional growth and development, including conferences or continuing education activities.
  • Participate in daily team huddles.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a current Kansas license as a M.D. or D.O.
  • Current DEA license required.
  • Doctorate Required. Field of Study: Medical.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Electronic Medical Record experience.
  • Knowledge in Word processing software.
  • Knowledge in spreadsheet design software.
