The successful candidate will work in a school setting, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, and swallowing function.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and caregivers, to ensure holistic care and support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (or eligibility for certification).
  • Valid Illinois licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • IEP experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with AAC devices is preferred.
