Job Summary

The Data Specialist will play a critical role in managing the District's Management Information System (MIS) to ensure accurate and timely data, reports, and components related to Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), funding, the Master Schedule, student schedules, grades, and credits, as well as graduation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain data integrity in the SIS and MIS at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with School District staff to ensure accurate school data and timely reports.
  • Work closely with Principals to ensure accurate school records and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Accurately report student information to ensure the school receives appropriate funding and support.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with staff, students, parents, and school district personnel in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process student withdrawals and transfers while providing necessary information.
  • Support initiatives to ensure the school meets defined FTE enrollment and attendance goals.
  • Evaluate performance based on established criteria.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to achieve enrollment and attendance goals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bilingual skills in local languages a plus.
  • Previous experience in school registration and working with at-risk youth preferred.
