Key Responsibilities

As a Residential HVAC Technician, your primary responsibilities will include conducting maintenance and repairs on heating and cooling systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your duties will encompass:

  • Performing maintenance checks on air conditioning and heating units, including cleaning and adjusting components
  • Diagnosing issues within HVAC systems and determining effective solutions
  • Repairing or replacing defective parts, such as compressors and thermostats
  • Completing all tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards and industry regulations
  • Communicating clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, recommendations, and necessary repairs
  • Delivering excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and educating clients on HVAC maintenance
  • Maintaining detailed records of services performed, including materials and time spent
  • Staying informed about industry trends and technological advancements

Qualifications

  • Type 2 AC certification (NATE certification preferred)
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in HVAC
  • Understanding of electrical systems, both high and low voltage
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Proficient in the use of various tools
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
