Altaquip, a leading provider of commercial and consumer equipment service, offers services on various product categories, including small engine repair and outdoor power equipment maintenance. Technicians are responsible for providing an excellent service experience by accurately diagnosing and repairing units, capturing product information, and maintaining a clean work environment.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Repairing units safely, correctly, and efficiently
- Accurately documenting work performed to each unit on the work order
- Capturing product information for filing warranty claims
- Cleaning repaired units for delivery
- Referencing parts via computer and retrieving parts from storage
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
We require the following qualifications:
- No certification required
- Ability to read and write the English language
- Ability to use a computer for parts lookup
- Previous experience working on 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines preferred
This role offers a competitive salary range of $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience, and includes medical insurance after 90 days of employment and a 401(k) plan with company match.
