OVERVIEW

In support of the Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC), our team delivers program management and technical assistance essential for enhancing services, capabilities, infrastructure, and technologies.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $71,000 - $93,000. Numerous factors can influence the final salary, including Federal Government contract labor categories, contract wage rates, relevant prior experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Active Directory and networking technologies, including DNS, TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, etc.
  • Implement and troubleshoot in a LAN/WAN environment.
  • Support Windows authentication using DoD CAC (Common Access Card).
  • Oversee virtualization infrastructure and architecture, particularly VMware vSphere.
  • Utilize Microsoft System Center, especially Configuration Manager.
  • Configure, maintain, and install the supporting Windows infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with a team to manage, maintain, and administer Windows desktops, servers, and associated printers.
  • Provide direct user support and interaction daily, necessitating effective communication and collaboration with users, support teams, management, and vendors.
  • Work with Data Assessment and Analysis Center (DAAC) clusters and workstations.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Clearance: Secret with the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with 2 years of experience, or an Associate Degree with 6 years of relevant experience in the Computer Science field. (Degree is negotiable with a High School Diploma and 8 years of relevant experience).
  • Must meet DoD 8570 requirements (Security+ certification).
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft Server and Desktop environments.
  • This position may require after-hours support and responsiveness to emergency situations.

HIGHLY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with VMware's vSphere and Horizon View.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft HyperV.
  • Knowledge of DoD and Army security configurations, technologies, and policies, including DISA STIG, Army Gold Master, IAVA, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit.
  • Project Management experience.
