Rheumatology Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time licensed Physician Assistant to join our established Rheumatology care center in Sebring & Winter Haven, FL.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated healthcare professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care while building strong relationships with chronic disease patients in a smaller team setting.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Physician Assistant to work alongside our experienced medical team and contribute to providing exceptional patient care.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Examine patients and their medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Diagnose and propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
- Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention
- Oversee patients' overall health
- Promote good health practices
- Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
- Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician
New grads and experienced Physician Assistants in Rheumatology, Orthopedics, Orthopedic Surgery, Internal Medicine are welcome to apply.
The ideal candidate will be willing to work in both locations 50% of the time.
Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish and English are highly valued.
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
Strong ethics, integrity, and reliability are essential qualities for this role.
A team player with a positive attitude, patience, and optimism is required.
The ideal candidate will exhibit curiosity and a willingness to learn.
A valid Florida Physician Assistant & DEA license is mandatory.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
