Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized nursing care to students in a school setting

  • Conduct health assessments, administer medications, and provide treatments as ordered by healthcare providers

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures

  • Experience working in a school setting
  • Knowledge of school nursing policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
