Job Title: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our department.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing medical procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
  • Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
Requirements:
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care, ICU, or procedural experience
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a hospital procedural setting with exposure to radiation during fluoroscopy procedures. You will also be exposed to blood, waste products, and contagious diseases. The fast-paced environment and high-acuity patient care require strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
