Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Swanzey, NH. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide essential in-person speech and language services to students from Pre-K to 6th grade.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Direct Speech and Language Therapy: Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students, addressing their unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations and Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
  • Provide Consultations: Offer consultations to educators and parents to support student success and provide guidance on strategies for supporting students with communication needs.
  • Develop and Implement IEPs: Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with a team of professionals, including teachers, counselors, and other support staff, to support student success and provide a comprehensive educational experience.
Requirements:
  • Active NH SLP License: Possess a current and active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other professionals.
