We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. This is a full-time position, with a salary range of $51-$58 per hour, and includes a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans as well as a 401k with employer match.

Job Overview

This role requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience as a school psychologist, with a master's or doctoral degree in the field. The ideal candidate will be proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments, interpreting results, and developing effective interventions and behavior management strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels.
  • Interpretation and Insights: Interpret assessment results to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
  • Counseling and Support Services: Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consultation and Partnership: Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with research, best practices, and legal requirements related to school psychology and special education.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results.
  • Solid knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
