Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Ansible Government Solutions, LLC. As an Operating Room RN, you will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
• Function as an integral member of the surgical team, working closely with patients, surgeons, and anesthesia staff in the surgical setting.
• Implement the pre-operative plan of care, demonstrating knowledge of the responsibilities of the RN pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively.
• Scrub and circulate surgical procedures independently, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Work in partnership with the healthcare team to implement standards of care during the operative and immediate post-operative phase, in accordance with the purpose, philosophy, and objectives of nursing.
• Supervise care given and services rendered in the OR by other professional and non-professional staff.
• Responsible for maintenance, care, and use of equipment used, applying principles of asepsis, therapeutic, and technical knowledge to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assist in orientation of rotating surgical and anesthesia residents, and other nursing staff.
• Document nursing interventions, incorporating use of Deliverex, DHCP, and GUI.
• Provide family and patient education.
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program (BSN or ADN).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Three (3) years of recent Operating Room RN work experience is required.
• No sponsorship available.
