Job Summary:

As a Senior Meat Cutter at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality meat products are available to our members. You will work collaboratively with other associates to maintain a clean and organized meat department, while also providing expert knowledge and assistance to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Meat Department Operations: Maintain a clean and organized meat department, including rotating stock, cleaning equipment, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of different meat products, including cuts, cooking methods, and nutritional information.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other associates to achieve department goals, including maintaining inventory levels, controlling shrinkage, and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Adaptability: Adapt to changing business needs, including adjusting to new products, processes, and technologies.
