Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough surveys and assessments of healthcare facilities to identify areas of non-compliance
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified issues

  • Provide expert guidance and support to healthcare facilities to improve their survey readiness
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Successful completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing of the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
  • At least two years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities
  • Current licensure to practice as an LCSW
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis
