About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Berry Global. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Collect samples at scheduled intervals from each assigned machine and perform the necessary Quality/SPC testing procedures on samples.
Utilize tools, gauges, and other inspection equipment to obtain product specification data and accurately record information consistent with the department format.
Communicate with Process and Printing Technicians as well as Leadership to run a consistent quality product and follow all departmental procedures with respect to routine daily assignments.
Place nonconforming product on QA hold and adhere to all company and departmental procedures.
Assist in training as needed and assist with calibration and special projects.
Requirements
High School Diploma and capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and making repetitious motions.
Minimum corrected/uncorrected vision of 20/40 and strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
Capable of maintaining an attendance record within company guidelines and working required overtime.
Inspection experience preferred with excellent communication and documentation skills and color vision within normal limits (according to Ishihara Screen Test).
