Job Overview:

The Atrium at Faxon Woods is a dedicated memory care facility. The Residential Cleaner plays a crucial role in ensuring a hygienic and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include laundering linens, towels, and personal items of residents, as well as maintaining cleanliness in resident living spaces. Full-time positions are available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicates with supervisors regarding cleaning tasks.
• Maintains an organized laundry area and stores cleaning agents according to guidelines.
• Adheres to safety protocols for chemical usage and is knowledgeable about emergency procedures.
• Understands and follows proper disposal methods for biohazardous materials.
• Thoroughly cleans assigned resident apartments as per the schedule set by supervisors.
• Ensures bathrooms are cleaned meticulously, including toilets, sinks, bathtubs, mirrors, and floors.
• Vacuums all accessible areas, ensuring edges are not overlooked.
• Empties and cleans waste receptacles as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness in kitchen areas, including counters and floors.
• Washes windows from the inside as required.
• Dusts flat surfaces while being careful with residents' belongings.
• Cleans common areas according to established standards, including elevators, hallways, and activity spaces.
• Checks and touches up vacant units as per the assigned schedule.
• Keeps housekeeping and laundry carts organized and clean.
• Ensures public restrooms are maintained to high cleanliness standards.
• Handles all laundry, including residents' personal items, using appropriate cleaning products.
• Folds linens and returns them to designated areas.

Public Relations / Marketing:

Represents the community positively when interacting with potential residents and their families. Develops and practices a brief introduction to engage visitors.

Physical Requirements:
