Job Summary

Axes Physical Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in a clinic setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and providing patient care in alignment with our organization's standards and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician orders and our organization's standards.
  • Function as a cooperative member of the healthcare team, working collaboratively with other professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and physician-related information, adhering to our organization's confidentiality policies.
  • Assume responsibility for continued professional growth and development, participating in continuing education programs and other learning experiences to stay current in the field.
  • Maintain safety and infection control standards, recognizing and reporting any inferior patient care or safety hazards.
  • Responsible for timely completion and submission of reports related to patient evaluations, treatments, and discharge.
  • Ensure timely communication with referral sources regarding patient care and progress.
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate records of patient care and treatment.
  • Interpret and report treatment results to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Assign and supervise tasks to support staff as needed, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
  • Participate in program development and implementation, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
  • Practice Physical Therapy in accordance with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
  • Maintain a patient treatment schedule that meets the needs of our facility and guidelines set forth by leadership.
  • Respect and understand patient rights to treatment and involvement in treatment decisions.
  • Participate in marketing efforts through relationship building and article submission, promoting our organization's services and expertise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in physical therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed or eligible for the State of MO PT license.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Efficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and EMR programs.
