Job Summary

Simplot is seeking a skilled IT Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT Security Engineering team, you will work closely with IT engineering teams to implement solutions in support of Simplot security initiatives across our global enterprise application portfolio and factory IT/OT systems. This role offers a hybrid, collaborative environment with flexible office/remote workplace options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement network and security solutions to protect Simplot's global enterprise application portfolio and factory IT/OT systems.
  • Collaborate with IT engineering teams to ensure security solutions align with Simplot's Information Security objectives.
  • Work with managed service providers to maintain security configurations and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation for new and existing solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and emerging security principles and methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university.
  • 3-10 years related experience and/or training.
  • Strong communication and business engagement skills.
  • The inclination to continuously learn and to evolve your technical skills.
  • The desire to work on challenging, global solutions.

Travel Required : Less than 10%
