We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to drive financial planning processes and support the Engines program at Blue Origin.
About the Role- Drive the monthly business rhythm and major financial planning processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Operate as a finance business partner for the Engines group, providing strategic financial guidance and support.
- Develop and maintain financial models, data models, and SQL queries to inform business decisions.
- Provide high-quality and accurate data to support business decisions, driving business growth and improvement.
- Monthly Close and reporting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Annual Operating Plan, developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth.
- Multi-Year Strategic Plan, providing long-term financial guidance and support.
- Financial analysis and modeling, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Data mining and business intelligence, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a highly analytical field.
- 2+ years of financial and business analysis experience, with a strong understanding of financial documents and performance measurements.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex financial models and reports.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint, with a strong understanding of financial management systems.
- Experience with Planful or similar tool, with the ability to create complex financial models and reports.
- Experience working in a Research & Development or Manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of financial management principles.
- Advanced level skills in SQL querying and data mining, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify opportunities for improvement.
