Carrier Clinic, a behavioral health organization, has been a reliable source of compassionate care and healing for patients and their families since its inception. Hackensack Meridian Health Carrier Clinic's East Mountain Youth Lodge offers a comprehensive range of out-of-home residential treatment services for adolescents. We provide 24-hour clinical and therapeutic support for emotional, behavioral, psychiatric, and substance use challenges, tailored to the strengths and needs of each resident.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a role model for healthy interpersonal relationships, demonstrating appropriate conduct for patients, families, and colleagues.
- Employ a nurtured heart approach to supervise, manage behaviors, and address the fundamental needs of the youth. Residential Counselors will cultivate relationships and support the development of adolescents through behavior management modules. Key responsibilities include leading resident group discussions, organizing recreational activities, and engaging in various group initiatives.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
A Bachelor's degree in social work or psychology and a minimum of one year of experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health or institutional environment.
