As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, enteral nutrition, and treatments as ordered by physicians, and accurately record all care provided and observations daily.
- Conduct Resident Rounds: Report problems to the nursing supervisor and initiate corrective action as necessary.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Develop care plans based on each resident's assessment and obtain physician orders and revisions as needed.
- Supervise and Evaluate Direct Care: Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care is maintained.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly with Clinical Nurse Managers and/or Director of Nursing if issues arise.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations within the assigned unit.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse school of nursing.
- Licensure: Current and active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Certification: Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support in accordance with AHS or ARC standards.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of Geriatric Nursing required.
